Recovery and Wellness Series – September 24, 2020

In honor of National Recovery Month 2020, please join us for “Conversations about Stigma, Healthcare Access, & Recovery” on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Our special guest, Grace Katie Bell, RN Addictions Specialist, will speak about stigma wounding and the ways stigma can show up in different settings. Panelists will share about their recovery and join in a conversation about where stigma may have shown up in different settings on their journey.

Recovery and Wellness Series – October 29, 2020

Join us for a free community training to learn about Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and how it works, how to recognize the signs of an overdose and how to respond to an overdose. FREE Naloxone (Narcan) kits will be available to all attendees at our sites in Auburn, Roseville, Grass Valley, Lincoln, Truckee and Kings Beach. Naloxone kits are made possible through the Placer- Nevada Rx Drug Safety Coalition.

Family Recovery Education Series (FRES)

Please join us and invite others!  The Family Recovery Education Series is open to anyone interested in learning more about addiction and recovery and healing for the whole family. The Parent Project

The Parent Project is a 10-week program (3.0 hours – 1 night, per week) that provides parents with concrete, straightforward, step-by-step solutions for their teens. This practical, supportive class helps parents with teens experiencing failing grades, school suspension, oppositional behavior, drug use, and other challenging behaviors.
