Steve Martino: GWC President, GWCF VP
Steve Martino is the President/CEO at MartinoWest Business and Insurance Solutions. He is an inspirational leader and devoted entrepreneur with an eye for what makes a business succeed. With over 40 years as a business owner in various industries, Steve has seen it all.
His passion has been to help those around him and to leave each place he goes better than he found it. Steve participates in activities that improve social well-being and support local businesses. His involvement with the community not only spreads positivity and brings more growth opportunities for everyone, but also, raises awareness of specific issues and causes. That is why he volunteers a portion of his time to offer his experience and expertise to advance the missions of non-profits close to his heart.
Chip Arenchild: GWC VP, GWCF President
Chip Arenchild has over 20 years of experience in the insurance services industry as the Vice President of InterWest Insurance Services since 2003. His success in the business has been built upon his understanding of real-life business issues, a comprehensive risk management approach, commitment, continual improvement, hard work, and integrity. Accordingly, he has proved influential in building meaningful partnerships with customers.
Graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Degree in Ecology; Chip has always been determined in making an impact in the lives of others and has a special passion for the betterment and strengthening of the communities in which we live and work. Since 2012, he has been a member of the board at GWCF, with the goal of building healthier and stronger families and communities.
Dave Scinto: GWC Member, GWCF Member
Dave is one of the founding partners of the accounting firm, Scinto Group LLP, with +30 years of experience working with business owners, wealth-orientated individuals, and real-estate investors within several industries. His experience, combined with his accounting knowledge, allows Dave to understand a company’s operations and goals, and to provide meaningful contributions through his consulting.
Dave believes in making a difference, helping people, and moving the needle on our most pressing social challenges to have a positive impact on our communities. He has served on the board of directors of the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalition. He is also the president of the Underground Goldminers Museum and a member of the 49er Rotary Breakfast Club of Nevada City.
Victoria Blacksmith: GWCF CEO
Victoria Blacksmith is first generation born in the US, her people originate from Guadalajara, Mexico. Victoria holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently a Clinical Psych. Doctoral Candidate. Victoria is passionate about research and addressing existing and historic inequities experienced by minority populations. Victoria’s research is focused on decolonizing mental health, which is the restoration and acceptance of cultural practices and values that were once abandoned, removed, or outlawed because of colonialism.
Victoria is an Organizational Consultant whose clients are primarily minority-owned non-profit organizations. During her career, Victoria has served as the Executive Director for the Friendship House Association of American Indians, working with individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders. Victoria served as a Supervising Detention Officer for the Yolo County Department of Probation for a decade, working with incarcerated youth and youth involved in immigration proceedings. She earned Officer of the Year and Supervisor of the Year awards in 2013 & 2016. Victoria proudly serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Granite Wellness Centers and Granite Wellness Centers Foundation and provides individual psychotherapy in private practice in Sacramento, CA.
Dainna McArthur: GWCF CFO
Dainna joined Granite Wellness Centers in March 2020 and is responsible for managing the organization’s financial sustainability. She graduated from Sacramento State University and has more than 20 years of experience in operation management and finance with multiple sites, companies, cost centers, and business lines including start-ups. With 15 of those years dedicated to the Human Services industry, she won the Sacramento Business Journal’s 2010 CFO of the Year award for the philanthropic category. Dainna is a results-focused leader with a demonstrated ability to streamline business operations that drive growth, and increase efficiency and profit. She has strong qualifications in developing and implementing financial controls and processes in addition to productivity improvements and information technology. She has a proven track record in leadership and communication skills to establish rapport with all levels of staff and management. Dainna is a member of the Financials Executive International Sacramento Chapter and enjoys volunteering for Veterans organizations.
