Join us at the 17th Annual Bill Schultz Golf Classic on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the exquisite Alta Sierra Country Club. This tournament has grown over the years and has proven to be one of our community’s favorite tournaments, with the support of donors like you and enthusiastic players.

About Bill Schultz

Bill Schultz’ leadership in the community through his service as a supervisor and his efforts in establishing and supporting recovery programs is deeply appreciated by so many in this community. Bill’s lifelong work to help individuals and families who are most in need in our community rebuild their lives and reach their full potential.

Mention the name of former Nevada County Supervisor Willard (Bill) Schultz and you’re likely to get a smile and some story about how he helped change the life of whomever you’re addressing. He’s worn many hats in our community including a business owner, elected representative of District 4, friend, teacher and life coach. Schultz served multiple terms on the Nevada County Board of Supervisors during some very turbulent times, many specific to the Fourth District. He was instrumental in the closing of the old “pit-type” garbage dump and the creation and opening of the McCourtney Road Transfer Station. He played a leadership role in creating state-mandated DUI programs and championed many of the improvements we all enjoy at Western Gateway Park.

Breakfast and Lunch will be served.
