Past and Current Clients Supporting Each Other
Granite Wellness Centers Alumni Association is a group of past and current clients who have joined together with community members to provide support, mentorship, and resources to struggling addicts in early recovery who are receiving treatment through Granite Wellness. The Alumni Association is active in community service programs to raise awareness that treatment is effective. They work towards reducing the stigma around addiction by demonstrating how people can and do recover.
The Alumni Association was formed by dedicated members of the local recovery community who have completed treatment through Granite Wellness and continue to achieve long-term success in recovery. These individuals act as a channel to provide resources and support to ensure that clients who are serious about their recovery and are working hard to 
overcome their disease receive the help and support they need.
Through donations and fundraising, the Alumni Association is able to help individuals and families currently enrolled in treatment with basic needs to stay strong and move forward as productive members of our community. As individuals who have been there themselves, Alumni Association members share their experiences and knowledge of what has and hasn’t worked in recovery. No matter what the circumstances are, the members know the courage it takes to begin the journey of recovery and the need to feel supported on the path of recovery.
The Alumni Association works with local recovery supporters and businesses to educate, inform, and unite citizens of the Sierra Nevada through events, local programs, and testimonials regarding recovery from active addiction. Everyone is welcome to join us in the fun! It’s a great way to be of service whether you are a recovering addict or a friend of the Alumni Association wanting to lend a hand!
